Attention guys in the New York/New Jersey Area! A new club is forming for young guys wanting to make some new friends under the sun! Please pass this on!
"Nude Jersey Boyz" is a group that includes all shapes and sizes. Come as you are: gay/bi/straight. We will have weekly get togethers at the Nude Gunnison Beach at Sandy Hook (Atlantic Highlands). We will have carpools to get down there, as well as drinks and theme days. You do NOT have to go nude!
Expect a MySpace group up sometime next week. For more information you can add me as a friend or shoot me a myspace message:
I've recently started buying the pins at shows that I go to, and want to get pins of the other shows I've seen. Does anyone know of a website that has a bunch of different ones? I don't want to have to buy off of each individual shows' site and pay shipping multiple times. Or does anyone one know of a store in NYC that has a full stock of different ones? I don't live there, but I visit about once a year, so I'd check it out next time I'm up there.
Date: Thursday, May 5th Time: 7pm - 9pm Where: Sweet & Vicious Bar 5 Spring Street (between Elizabeth & Bowery)

Argh, I still need a dramatic monolouge. So if anyone knows of one. I need it to be 2 minutes long (I can go shorter they won't notice lol) and now they're telling me they want it to be around my age well I'm 14 when have you heard of a monolouge with a 14 year old being dramatic? It also needs to be written by a contemporary writer. and "established playwright" So if anyone could please help me, I'd love you forever!!! Thanks!
Hey everyone! Bubblegum is putting together a book for Cheno. It would be wonderful to have your stories/poems/etc. included. If you're interested, please go here to sign up and here to read about the project. Any of your entries would be hugely appreciated! Please pass on the word!
I need a play for one of my theater classes... actually both kind of. One to read and analyze and all that fun stuff, and then I need to do a scene for my other one. Any suggestions? I have a scene partner and I was thinking some comedy/drama in the dead like me style. Hit me up with your ideas! Oh and it can't be musicals :( (I wish it could be though cause we can do this whole character analysis thing and I wanted to analyze Elphaba SO bad)
I am ordering Boy Gets Girl for sure because I love that play, but I would love to have a back up :) Thanks!!!
I was rocknrollriot1..but I changed my name to something better :)
I actually need some help. I have an upcoming audition where I need to sing a song from a Broadway play. And I don't want to do Wicked because I've figured everyone will be doing it. So if someone could help me? I'm a girl...just so ya know and I can pretty much sing everything from low to high. Not sure what my range is but I have a horrible belting range lol. So yeah can someone help? Thanks so much!
Hey, I'm new & just decided to join here since i love Broadway/musical theater and would love to make some new LJ friends with commen interests. Reply back or check out my own live journal and comment. I tell a lot about myself on there, but here's some theater related info, probably boring to you, haha:
-The first show i ever performed in was 'A Christmas Carol' as Tiny Tim when i was 8. I did that show 2 more times (another time as Tiny Tim, and once as Young Scrooge)
-My favorite role to play was Tommy Djilious in 'The Music Man'(9th grade, high school musical). I did this show another time too when i was younger, as Winthrop (age 9, community theater)
-My dream role would be Ren in 'Footloose,' which is also my favorite musical.
-I've seen about 15 shows on Broadway and i'm aching to see a lot more. The last one i saw was 'Fiddler on the Roof.'
-I'm in college, and almost entered as a theater major, but chose my other passion-visual arts, and i do mainly advertising/design.
